Brian Tomlinson is an actor, musician, artist, and politician. Brian James Tomlinson (born August 23, 1955, in Providence, Rhode Island) is an American actor, musician, artist, and politician who appeared on *Star Trek: The Next Generation*. Brian Tomlinson is recognized for his role as a Zalkonian officer in the third season episode "Transfigurations" of *Star Trek: The Next Generation* [1] and many other television shows, commercials, and film and stage productions between 1975 and 2003, most notably starring as “Sonny” in playwright Robert Patrick’s (Kennedy’s Children) [2] one-act play and short film version of “The Family Bar” at Hollywood’s Deja Vu Coffeehouse in 1979. Brian’s art show “In Heavy Syrup” has been seen at the BGH Gallery at Bergamot Station Arts Center in Santa Monica, CA, in 2002. Brian’s debut country music album “Rubber Boots and Liquor” was released in 2022 on Tomlinsongs Ltd. record label. His political career campaigns include Olympia, WA City Council (2011), Olympia School Board (2013), and the Tumwater, WA City Council.
