Bridget N. Karsten (Born in 2000), better known as BleuGate[1], is an American Youtuber, best known for her Beat Saber videos. As of November 2022[update], her channel has over 3,000 views and 57 subscribers.
Early life and education
Bridget Nicole Karsten was born on 26 April 2000 in Galveston, Texas, the youngest of four children. She was raised near the heart of Texas, all her life. Her adoptive father became a veteran before Bridget was born, and took care of her since her Biological Mother was in jail. Karsten began playing video games at the age of three, and as a child spent most of their time playing the Original Playstation in the house den, describing how she found a place to have fun and laugh in the video games. She chose the name "BleuGate" after an interest gave her a nickname, but had a typo spelling "bleu" instead of "blue". When she was 19, right after graduation in 2019, she became depressed and isolated from the world. Karsten became heavily self-inserted into playing video games to ignore everything in the real world. Three years later, she decided to work and become better than she would have been, after listening to friends she had met online. The reason she never quit, after Fall of 2020, was because she wanted to be a strong representation of the LGBTQ community, and show that everyone is different, and how that isn't always a bad thing.
Youtube career
Karsten started uploading videos to Youtube originally in 2012, under a long forgotten username, garnering over 10,000 views on videos As of April 2020[update]. Since January 2021, the channel has been presumed to be deleted. In June 2021, Karsten started uploading on the present Youtube Channel under the name of "RoxyBleu", As of November 2022[update] changed it to "BleuGate", initially doing random beatsaber videos with no dialog.
Frequency of uploads
For the first year, Karsten uploaded videos at random times, on random days. Later in 2022, she began trying to upload one video a week to get into Youtube's Algorithm to become something bigger.

Views on YouTube
Karsten has always enjoyed watching Youtube, but was upset when it changed and started dismissing videos containing cursing, becoming more restrictive of videos being posted on the site. Karsten knew that Youtube was infested with bot accounts often, some stating harmful things towards more popular Youtubers such as Jacksepticeye, and Markiplier. Karsten looked up to Jacksepticeye and Markiplier for years, especially when it came to views on Youtube.
Views on the video game industry
Karsten has thought video games should be more inclusive, and become fun for everyone instead of the cishet white men that constantly shut down everyone else who plays video games. Karsten has stated, "Video games are for everyone, no matter who you are, because it's all supposed to be for fun and laughter. A new experience, to either let off steam, or get scared and play with others."
Personal life
Karsten has not dated anyone in real life, but has dated a few people online. None of them ever really worked out, and most of them end up harming Karsten in mentally damaging ways. Karsten has almost come to giving up on dating multiple times, but always stays hopeful for the future. She became deep into Virtual Reality in 2021, when she started her Youtube Channel named "BleuGate".
