Bridie Barry is an Australian journalist.

Barry is currently a reporter for Nine News Queensland.

Career[edit]

Barry has also worked for WIN News in Rockhampton, Queensland as well as ITN in the United Kingdom.[1]

Bridie joined Sky News Live as a producer in 2006, and became a founding staff member of the newly launched Sky News Business Channel, becoming a presenter.[2] At Sky News Business, Barry has hosted numerous programs including MediaWeek,[3] conducted interviews[4] and has covered election campaigns.[5]

In 2016, Barry became co-host of Sky News Real Estate, which airs on Sky News Business on Saturdays, and features property news and live auctions.[6] She remained with Sky News until she resigned in June 2018.

In June 2018, she joined Nine News Queensland as a reporter.[7]

Personal life[edit]
