The Brightman anti-aircraft machine gun was an unusual machine gun of Hawaiian origin.[1] The weapon was a mitrailleuse-type volley gun that had 37 barrels and was fed with cartridges holding 37 rounds. However it was found that the M2 Browning fulfilled this role.[citation needed]
