The British International College of Hargeisa (BIC) is a pre-school, primary school and secondary school based in Hargeisa, Somaliland. a distinctive British independent school ethos which reflects both the Islamic values and dynamic culture of Hargeisa and Somaliland. It is a leading British-curriculum school in Somaliland, and can accommodates about 300 students from pre-K to year 12. Campuses The school is currently in the process of building a purpose built building on a centrally located 3,500 square metre site. The school has a student-to-teacher ratio of 20:1.[1]
Curriculum BIC is fully accredited to provide education for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Primary Education (Y1-6) and Secondary (Y7-12). BIC follows the National curriculum in England.
Schools The Pre-Prep: Early Years School is for boys and girls of 4 to 5 years of age. The Primary School is for Year 1 to year 6 students aged from 5 to 11 years of age. The Secondary School is for Years 7 to 13.
