Brittany Matthews (born September 1, 1995) is an owner of the KC NWSL of the National Women's Soccer League and former professional soccer player.[1] She has a fitness company known as Brittany Lynne Fitness and is a popular internet celebrity. She is also engaged to professional football player Patrick Mahomes.
Early life
Brittany Matthews went to high school in Whitehouse, TX where she began dating Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. Playing sports her entire life, she went to the University of Texas at Tyler where she played soccer and earned a degree in kinesiology. She played professional soccer in Iceland before moving back to the United States.[2]
Business ventures
Her businesses have typically revolved around her love of sports and her popularity on social media. She developed her own brand of personal training and fitness gear sold under the Brittany Lynne Fitness brand. In 2021, when the KC NWSL team was created, Brittany became a founder and co-owner along with Chris and Angie Long.[3]
Personal life
She has two dogs, Steel and Silver, that she regularly talks about online. On February 20, 2021, she and Patrick welcomed their first child, daughter Sterling Skye Mahomes.
