Broad Reach Investment Management
Broad Reach Investment Management LLP is a British Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM). Broad Reach is headquartered in London, with an office in New York.[1] It is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (Reference Number 737130)[2]
Background
Broad Reach was founded in 2016 by Bradley Wickens, a founding principal of Spinnaker Capital where he led the $1 billion Spinnaker Global Emerging Markets (GEM) Fund. During his 17 year tenure at Spinnaker, the GEM fund returned an annualised 21%.[3]
Broad Reach Master Fund combines research-based macro investing with special situations and systematic trading to bet across emerging markets.[4] In 2019, it surged 42.5%, making it one of the best-performing hedge fund in the world that year, according to Bloomberg.[4]
In 2019, Broad Reach launched the Broad Reach Explorer Fund, a exclusively systematic fund.[5]
In September 2022, Broad Reach opened its US office.[6]
Broad Reach Master Fund made 14% in 2023, due to its long-short positions in credit and rates across emerging markets[7] and 24.3% in 2024.[8]
