Bronwen Murray
Bronwen Murray is an American film actress of Welsh descent. Her most notable role is in the Disney film Tom and Huck starring alongside Jonathon Taylor Thomas.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Bronwen Murray was born in Loveland, Colorado on July 15, 1979.[2] Her father T.D. Murray was a homebuilder and mother, Mallory (née Humphrey) spent her career at the Department of Defense.
At age 15, Murray made her feature film debut in the Disney film Tom and Huck. Based on the Mark Twain 1876 novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, the film starred Jonathon Taylor Thomas, Brad Renfro, and Rachel Leigh Cook.[3] The film was directed by Peter Hewitt, with Bobby Bukowski [4] as cinematographer and production design by Game of Thrones Emmy winner Gemma Jackson. Also a regular onset was Oscar winner Octavia Spencer who worked in the casting department.[5]
Murray went on to earn a Bachelor of Art in Communication from Auburn University, summa cum laude. Her Master's Degree is from Northwestern University.
Personal life[edit]
Bronwen Murray lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her partner Anderson. Recently, Murray returned to acting in Zach Snyder's Army of the Dead and B.J. Novak's Vengeance.[6]
