Brooklyn White-Grier is an American writer and editor. She is known for her work with ESSENCE Magazine, Bitch Media and The Gumbo. White-Grier's work focuses on Black women, fashion, and social justice. Her 2019 essay 'The Commodification of Hot Girl Summer' went viral, continuing a conversation about Black linguistic ownership and young Black people's ability to capitalize on their digital innovations. White-Grier lives in Texas with her husband and children.
