Brown Bag Session

Term "Brown Bag" refers to something casual or informal and when at workplace we term Brown Bag Session as it relates to an informal meeting or session where participants meet and discuss on topics which adds value to the performing Organization and also help's in individual growth

Ideally these sessions are to be conducted in person and in a conference room , having said this these are not limited to conference talks these can be done over Web Conferences , Online meetings just to facilitate the stakeholders across time zones

The topics should be chosen from the Company Vision or Goal

The topics should be shared to the participating forum much in advance to ensure that everyone get a chance to know what they are going to listen from the speaker

Ideally there will be a moderator who conducts these sessions and tracks the progress and shares the recordings with everyone

Usually the duration and occurrence can be for 30 minutes to an hour and bi-weekly

This will help in continuous improvement and enhance the learning curve in an Agile Environment
