Bruce Brand

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Probably better known as being a rock 'n' roll drummer for the likes of The Milkshakes, Thee Headcoats, The Masonics and Holly Golightly, Bruce Brand started his musical journey around 1975 as a guitarist, his first group being 'Bruke Farouk's Jambusters', formed whilst at school in Sheerness, Kent and covering 'rock classics' of the period. His first live performance was opening for local prog legends 'Midas' at the Sheppey Little Theatre with Tim Jacobs, Kevin Simpson and Danny Jarvis on vocals, bass and drums respectively. By the time they played their second show, now augmented by second guitarist Wayne Hill, the name had inexplicably changed to 'Sidewinder' (despite being erroneously billed as ‘Cyclops’ in the programme).

To be continued.
