Bryce Jacob Romero (born October 29, 1993, in Lafayette, Louisiana[1][2]), is an American actor, known for minor roles in TV series Scream (2015), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2018), FBI (2019), and films Maggie (2015) and The Maze Runner film series (2014–2018).
Biography[edit]
Bryce Romero was born October 29, 1993, in Lafayette, in a Cajun family from Acadiana.
He has been interested in acting as long as he can remember, but with no friends or family in the industry, he never really knew how to break into the business. He had never set foot on stage in a play prior to joining the Performing Arts program's theatre concentration at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, but knew he wanted to be an actor. His first stage appearance in his tirst year as Punkin in The Rabble confirmed what he had always instinctively known, that he was meant to be a performer. Soon after entering the Performing Arts program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, he recruited an agent and started acting.
He actually started his professional acting career while still an active student in the UL Lafayette Theatre program. His film and television credits include The Maze Runner (2014) and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) (though uncredited), The Final Girls (2015), Hot Pursuit (2015), Scream: The TV Series (2015), and a breakout role in Maggie opposite Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin.[3]
He graduated in 2015 and continued acting since then, playing in Heart, Baby! (2017), Speech & Debate (2017), and TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2018).
