"BucketMan - coloring your city" is a mobile game that is similar to Pac-Man but in the streets of the world via OpenStreetMap data. It is available for Android from the Playstore and for all iOS devices from the App Store. The game is made by Felix Butzbach, with Grafics from Thomas Kober and Music by Ruhrkraft.

Story

In a near futur all vehicles have an artificial intelligent steering system which helps the humans while driving. One day there was a fatal error in the global server and all AIVs (Artifial Intelligent Vehicles) disconnected and drove from now on unsuperwised through the streets of the world. With the time the cities became dirty and grey due to the polution of the ever driving AIVs. And then, one day, a hero appeard and with your help he will fight back the AIVs to cleanup the cities and free the humans that live in fear.

During the game you will follow a story that explains why BucketMan has to do all the missions and yields a dark secret at the end.

GamePlay

In 14 missions you will help BucketMan to fight the AIVs. During the game BucketMan will learn how to jump and even paint the AIVs to avoid colisions and to win time, as time will become your biggest enemie. After some more time you will unlock the super paints which make BucketMan super so he can destroy the AIVs. In the end he will discover a secret and that you can not always beleive what you hear...

Screenshot from mission 12 from within the game. The player has already unlocked the buttons and also activated the feature 'Super Paint Schindel' that shows the time, that the superpaint stays on the map.

Besid the missions you can play survival maps in the game where you can compete in a global leaderboard, play in different maps from all around the world or use your current position to play. There are leaderboards for your current position maps and you can compete with your friends in your neighbourhood)

The game has a skills and feature system so you can level up during the game and become better and better. You have always the possibility to play survival maps to collect more paints and water to upgrade or unlock stuff.

Map that shows the currently (02/02/16) uploaded maps from around the world. The colors of the markers are defined by the highscore of the map.
