Buman, also known as Buman The General and The General, is a Moroccan singer and songwriter. He was born in Madagh, Morocco, and grew up in Bilbao, Spain. His music incorporates elements of reggaeton, hip hop and trap.[1][2]
Career
Buman has released music since 2017. His single "Audio 23" was released on January 29, 2017.[3][4]
His single "Putivuelta" was released on April 30, 2021.[5] In April 2024, the Dominican newspaper El Nacional reported that "Putivuelta" had surpassed one million streams on Spotify.[6]
In May 2024, Diario de Mexico published a profile of Buman describing his music as a combination of hip hop, reggaeton and trap. The article reported that he had performed in Spain, Morocco, The Dominican Republic, and the Netherlands and stated that his music was being streamed in more than 120 countries.[1]
The Mexican music publication Freim included Buman in an article about emerging Spanish-language urban artists and featured his song "Barbie". The publication described him as a Moroccan singer from Madagh who grew up in Bilbao.[2]
Buman released the studio album Easy on November 23, 2023. The album contains eight songs and was released under the name Mansour Zakhnini Grad.[7]
He released the single "Horder Love" on November 17, 2024.[8]
In 2025 and 2026, Buman continued releasing music, including "Bonita", "Moonlight", "PEC", "You & I", "Slay", "Morra", "Se Esconden", and SDFC.[9]
In March 2025, Buman travelled to Medellin, Colombia, in connection with the release of "Bonita". Contemporary coverage reported appearances on Colombian radio and television outlets, including Los 40, Radio Colmundo, and Teleantioquia.[10]
