Bump and Go toys
A Bump and Go toy is a mechanism which is often autonomous, where toy changes direction when bumped into an obstacle. The mechanism has a vertical motor, that is mounted on wheel-cage. The toy is supported on this wheel-cage. A wheel-cage is free to turn complete revolution but usually stays in direction of movement of the toy. When bumped into an obstacle, the resistance in drive motor changes, the wheel-cage changes direction allowing the toy to change course.[1]
