Bump and Go toys

A Bump and Go toy is a mechanism which is often autonomous, where a toy changes direction when bumped into an obstacle. The mechanism has a vertical motor that is mounted on a wheel-cage. The toy is supported on this wheel-cage. A wheel-cage is free to turn a complete revolution but usually stays in the direction of movement of the toy. When bumped into an obstacle, the resistance in the drive motor changes, the wheel-cage changes direction allowing the toy to change course.
