Bunii (stylized as bunii), is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. Beginning his career in 2023, his pop-rock blend would slowly take over the underground SoundCloud scene in early 2025. In 2024, he released two extended plays, *Opo* and *Six*. His third extended play, *8:30 Is Too Early*, released in January 2025. His debut album, *Bastard*, released in July 2025.
Career
2023-2024: *Opo*, *Six*, *8:30 Is Too Early*
Bunii's career began in 2023 with "Talk To Me"—a collaboration with jaime!—followed by a series of singles throughout 2024 leading towards his debut extended play (EP), *Opo*, released on August 3.[1][2] He continued to release throwaway singles leading up to his second EP, *Six*, released on October 18.[3] He released “Whatever It Takes” and “Circles” in November, as well as "Disguise" with crayon in December to end off the year.[4][5][6] He released his third extended play, *8:30 Is Too Early*, on January 10, 2025, featuring “Cupid” as track 6, which released exclusively on SoundCloud on November 8, 2024.[7][8]
2025-present: *Bastard*
- Barberry Lane*, a double-single consisting of “Grand Mal” and “Decue”, released on March 14, 2025.[9] The two tracks gave fans an insight of what Bunii’s sound was shifting into. He released his debut album, *Bastard*, on July 25, 2025.[10] The album’s lead single, “Toothache”, was released on June 27.[11]
