Burhan Karkutli

Burhan Karkutli (Arabic: برهان كركوتلي‎‎; 1932 in Damascus, Syria – 26 December 2003 in Bonn, Germany) was a Syrian artist. He completed his education from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo in 1958. He moved to Berlin for higher education and studied there until 1963. Burhan immigrated to Germany in 1970 and lived there until his death in 2003.
