The Burnside Heights Football Club is an Australian rules football club located in the suburb of Burnside Heights competing in the Essendon District Football League. The club was founded in 2012, making it the youngest club in the division 2 senior men's league.[1]
In the club's debut season of the men's division 2 in 2014, the Bears finished in last place, finishing 8th. The Bears' second season saw them also finish last. In 2016 they managed to finish 7th, then dropping to 9th in 2017. Burnside dropped again to last in 2018, and in 2019 they finished 4th in their best season yet.[2]
