The Business Alliance for Local Living Economies ("BALLE") is a North American alliance of local business networks, containing about 20,000[citation needed] members.[1] BALLE's mission is to "catalyze, strengthen and connect networks of locally owned independent businesses dedicated to building strong Local Living Economies".[2]
