The Business Expo Center is a meeting and event venue in Southern California. The Center opened in July 2010 and is located in Anaheim, California on South Anaheim Way near landmarks such as Disneyland, the Honda Center, and Angel Stadium. The Center offers 14 rooms of varying square footage. The Business Expo Center is commonly used to hold business meetings, expos, trade shows, conferences, workshops, social events, celebrations, weddings, and quinceañeras.

The Business Expo Center has 36,000 square feet of usable event space.[1] There are 14 rooms that differ in size and structure to host various meetings and events.

Additionally, the venue includes a kitchen, staging area for caterers, and in house audio/visual equipment for event use. Outside the venue stands a 38-foot-tall digital message board to display upcoming events to 250,000 + daily commuters.

The Business Expo Center is located in Anaheim, California on South Anaheim Way paralleling the I-5 freeway. The Center is surrounded by over 20 hotels, a variety of local restaurants, and less than 3 miles from Disneyland, the Honda Center, and Angel Stadium. Being within the Platinum Triangle, Business Expo Center is a leader in hosting expos and trade shows for a variety of industries. [1]
Events[edit]
The center celebrated its grand opening on July 29, 2010.[2] A Business Opportunity and Career Expo was held in January 2011, drawing exhibits and presenters from local and national businesses.[3] Vistage International has held multiple meetings in the Training Room of the Business Expo Center in 2012. Data Connectors hosted the Orange County Tech Conference in Expo Hall A. The event featured 30 vendor exhibits and several industry experts discussing current tech-security issues.[4] Green Technology held their CALGreen Code Seminar in the Presentation Room of the Business Expo Center to inform individuals of adjustments to planning and construction practices. The Bodhi Youth of America Fundraiser was held in Expo Hall A in 2012. The event featured dinner and various performances with the proceeds going to programs to enrich the lives of today’s youth.[5]
More recently, Business Expo Center has had several sporting events hosted at the location that include boxing matches, karate competitions, yoga and zumba classes. There have been a variety of conferences and seminars for such companies as Uber, OC Tech, St.Josephs Hospital and United Pentecostal Church. In the past the venue has hosted Massage Envy, Home Depot, American Martial Arts Academy, Central Drugs and MedXM holiday events. Many individuals have hosted anniversaries and celebrations with Business Expo Center, even the CEO Jim Shab had the Anaheim High School Class of 1974 Reunion. One of the biggest events the venue has hosted was The Special Event 2015 Wedding Gala Event at Business Expo Center in which the exclusive event showcased a variety of wedding and wedding reception ideas and designs.
Development[edit]
The Business Expo Center is currently in the process of expanding their facility and creating a green energy producing parking lot. They are working with the City of Anaheim and city leaders to create a parking lot that will protect the environment and add beautification to the area. The new lot will add 250 parking spaces and utilize natural energy resources such as solar power and sustainable materials. Development has also been seen in staffing, now consisting of fifteen employees as well as a Marketing and Event Planner internship program for local colleges.

The location was originally home to AirCall Wireless but then was transformed into the Business Expo Center due to the community's request to use the space for private, corporate, and public events. One of the first major events that the Business Expo Center hosted was for Volkswagen featuring the release of its newest Jetta model. The venue offers the use of meeting and training rooms, halls, showrooms, presentation rooms, and reception rooms. Since 2009, the venue has expanded to incorporate private large scale events.
