Buu E. Radley
Brian Gerald Jewell, better known by his stage name Buu E. Radley, is an American Hip-Hop/Rap artist based in Detroit, Michigan. His music is self-referred to as “Grown Man Rap”, with an emphasis on lyrical substance, finesse, and Neo-negro spiritual sound[2]. Buu E. Radley started writing rap verses at the age of 6, with music being a key part of his formative years and throughout adulthood[2]. He has 5 singles and 1 EP, ranging chronologically from October 26, 2020 – October 28, 2022. In an interview, Brian said – in response to a question about his influences, "Much of my music is rooted in authenticity. My music is me being myself and sharing my thoughts, experiences, and outlook on different aspects of life[2]."

Buu E.'s nuclear influences comprise of Method Man, Geto Boys, DMX, A Tribe Called Quest, and Mos Def (Yasiin Bey). Buu E. is also inspired by Rakim, 2Pac, Ice Cube, Juvenile, and Master P." He has also been influenced by The Gap Band, mentioning his inspiration in the title of his "Be Mine" music video[4]
