By Time (Persian: قسم به زمان) is a 2011 Iranian documentary film written and directed by Ali Fatehi. This film was directed after the death of Grand Ayatollah Montazeri and in the wake of the Green Movement in Iran. This film addresses the three periods of Montazeri's life, before the revolution, when he became deputy of the Supreme Leader, and finally when he gave up power. This documentary was released in Malaysia on the first anniversary of Ayatollah's death and was then broadcast on Rasa TV.[1][2]
