The Bytown Royals are a junior ice hockey team based in Vanier, Ontario. They play in the National Capital Junior Hockey League.
History
On April 24, 2017, a franchise was awarded to Vanier, Ontario to start play in the 2017–18 season along with 3 other new franchises.[1]. In the 2018–19 season the Bytown Royals made their first playoff appearance against the Vankleek Hill Cougars, losing the series 4–2[2]
