CALMS is a management system for compressed air compressors. It was found in 2011 and is still improving and growing. Its headquarters are located in Europe Slovenia.
CALMS introduces modern information technology and advanced energy services to the demanding technical fields of compressed air. It has partners all over the world.
History
CALMS was established in 2011. Its headquarters are located in Europe in the capital city of Slovenia, Ljubljana. That is where the idea was developed and where the first prototype was made. The trigger for thinking about inventing something like CALMS was when a team that was working with compressed air, found a leakage in one of their compressors. The team soon began working on fixing the problem along a group of software programmers. The idea shared quickly around the world to different countries and companies.
More people joined the project through years as developers, partners, costumers and users. In October in the year 2016 a CALMS office was made in New York in USA which held a conference in the same year. The office there is named CALMS Air Inc. Six years later, in 2022, another office was built in Sweden. The office there is named CALMS Nordic AB. Now the company has more than 600 end users, 30 experts and auditors worldwide, 40 service companies distributors and still develops their product further with new knowledge and discoveries.

About
CALMS is an independent platform which was made by programmers, it connects to an air compressor with a device that CALMS Air also makes, and then repeatedly sends all data a costumer needs to costumers' app that they download.[1] Its whole intention is increasing the quality of production of different air compressors by giving more clarity to the whole process of compressing air. They are optimizing energy media with a focus on compressed air.[2] CALMS is based on CSA837, support for ISO 11011, 50001, 55000 compliant (international quality standards). The CALMS platform is a tool and an environment for experts and auditors. It is a tool for identification of energetic savings and ESCO of the company. It works like a measuring tool that works out and tells the user exactly how to act.
Their goal is reliability, financials and sustainability as those are the main topics the app covers. But all their whole vision and areas covered include, merging and creating a small number of global multinational companies that drive the market by also promoting OEM. Connecting energy system users with professionals, equipment/service suppliers and energy solution investors.
The platform is made for independent experts and auditors, service companies, maintenance workers, equipment suppliers, OEM, ESCO, investors and companies.
different devices include CALMS EDGE CS-lite audit IOT device - 3G/4G, CALMS CS-x permanent monitoring - 3G/4G (and a mobile app). They also offer online courses and training to spread awareness about compressed air and energy savings.
