CEVA Logistics is a global logistics and supply chain company specializing in both freight management and contract logistics. Founded in 2007 through the merger of TNT Logistics and EGL Eagle Global Logistics, it has its headquarters in Marseille, France. As of 2021, CEVA employs 98,000 people across 6 regions and operates in 160 countries.[1]
CEVA Logistics announced its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in April 2018, with Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley as bookrunners. It started trading on the SIX Swiss Exchange on May 4, 2018.[2]
In 2019, CEVA Logistics was acquired by CMA CGM Group, a French container transportation and shipping company. Post-acquisition, CMA CGM held 97.89% of CEVA's outstanding shares and voting rights, intending to delist CEVA from the Zurich Stock Exchange.[3]
In January 2020, Mathieu Friedberg was appointed CEO of CEVA Logistics. In mid-2020, CEVA Logistics launched a significant expansion plan for the African market.[4]
In January 2022, CEVA became Scuderia Ferrari's official logistics partner, replacing United Parcel Service (UPS) after nine years.[5]
In April 2022, CEVA Logistics confirmed the acquisitions of Ingram CLS, Colis Privé, and GEFCO, making it one of the world's largest third-party logistics providers in both eCommerce and Automotive.
