In Mangalore, Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL), Bejai-Kapikad, Mangalore with its capacious and beautiful campus located at Bejai-Kapikad, Kottara Cross Road, Mangalore, has been creating ripples in the field of education for quite some time now with its students achieving outstanding performance in some of the toughest competitive exams for medical, engineering, math and pure sciences. It was founded in 2009 by Severine Rosario with the intention of giving students in the Mangalore the right information, guidance and tools required to qualify extremely competitive STEM examinations as well as other scholarship examinations.

History

Severine Rosario - The Founder of CFAL

CFAL was founded by Severine Rosario in 2009. The founder of CFAL realized that though our children are intelligent and hardworking, they lack the right kind of guidance at the right time. It was a personal experience that made Severine give a deep thought to the entire concept of teaching. She realized that when her sons could come out with flying colours in the IIT entrance exams with proper preparation and guidance, their equally capable friends and classmates couldn’t make it. At this juncture she felt that a sturdy conceptual foundation, proactive teachers and proper guidance are needed to help children achieve greater heights.

In 2020, Due to the outbreak of the pandemic, CFAL had proudly ushered in online training for JEE and NEET aspirants. Their online offerings helped students attend live online sessions, streaming of recorded video lectures for efficient concept delivery, mentorship and consistent evaluation with online tests based on specific test patterns helped students prepare for the said exams. With their online classes being a huge success, CFAL has decided to continue with live online and recorded classes to enable students living outside Mangaluru to learn from the best possible resources

Products and Services

CFAL has been providing coaching since 2009 for STEM based examination in the costal district of Karnataka. The programs at CFAL starts from the Gifted Children Program. This middle school program emphasizes the learning of STEM subjects. Their program is designed to create an environment where subjects and problems are presented in a fun, non-threatening manner. Many schools present STEM subjects in a fixed format and they are already viewed as being "difficult". They see these subjects as exciting and explore them in different dimensions. Children attending their foundation programs can get a thorough understanding of basic concepts and have a unique opportunity to explore the amazing world of math and science! This program is online exclusive.

They also offer a foundation program for Grade 7 - 10. Every good building begins with one important thing. A SOLID FOUNDATION! Their aim is to build a strong foundation in Maths and Science by conducting classes that compliment school syllabus and provide the base for answering highly competitive exams. This program is available both Online and Offline.

CFAL provides evening coaching for both students preparing for JEE and NEET. This program is a two year program for 1st PU student / 11th Grade student. This is also available both Online and Offline.

CFAL has recently introduced NEET 1 to 1 program with a tagline of 'Practice like a champion', with the idea of coach playing an important role in the success of his student, enriching both his intellectual understanding and skill development. They follow the same concept, wherein their coaches mentor, guide, and monitor each student on daily basis to bring out the best in each one of them!

CFAL has its own PU college, The Learning Centre Pre-university college (TLC PUC) & Early learning centre which was awarded among the Top 10 Pre-schools in India.
