CHADD

CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a US-based non-profit organisation centred around advocating for people with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder). Founded in 1987, it subscribes firmly to the view that ADHD is primarily caused by inherited genetic factors[1] rather than having an environmental cause or merely being an erroneous label imposed on undesirable but non-pathological behaviour.
