CILICANT is an Indian Primary active pharmaceutical packaging company headquartered in Pune, India.[1] It manufactures Desiccant active sorbent, Silica Gel, Molecular Sieve, Activated Carbon, Custom Blend and dispensing machine.[2] Desiccants play an important role in keeping the drugs stable and extending their shelf life. Desiccants are widely used in packaging industries like pharma products, leather goods and electronics. The company is approved by USFDA's regulatory standards.[3][4]

CILICANT was founded in 2011 by Mr. Manish Jain. In the same year Manish approached a large Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company exporting drugs to the US market, to buy desiccant pouches made by his company.[5]
In 2012, Cilicant received USFDA certification.[6][3]
In 2016, Cilicant received international certification for cGMP compliant facilities.[2]
In 2018, the company received Health Canada certification.[2]
In 2020, CILICANT launched its third manufacturing unit in Pune, India.[7][8]
