CIeNET Technologies is an American technical service provider for software development in the industries of telecom software, embedded software, automotive software, mobile internet software, and enterprise software. It operates in America, Canada, China, Europe, and other countries.[1]

In 2015, it established its first office in the Greater Toronto Area and in 2018, CIeNET opened its Canadian Technology and Development Center in the City of Markham, Ontario. CIeNET had focused on automotive and mobility-related technology since its establishment in Canada and planned to build the Canadian Center of Excellence for automotive technologies with support from regional and municipal governments across the York Region.[2]

The company has over 2,000 employees and has been incorporated in Oak Brook, Illinois, USA since 2000.[3]

Its services aim to provide solutions for globally sourced software consulting, Agile software development, software testing, and systems integration services for Fortune 1000 clients in Asia, Europe, and North America.[4]

R&D Centers[edit]

Its R&D centers manage the full lifecycle of software development following CMMI and ISO certified quality assurance processes.[4] CIeNET has ISO 27001 Certifications for its R&D centers in Beijing, Chengdu, Nanjing, and Shanghai (certified by BSI Group). [5]

Automotive Infotainment Testing[edit]

In 2017, CIeNET was recognized as a key vendor of the global automotive infotainment testing platform market from 2017-2021.[6]

In 2021, CIeNET was named to the IAOP’s “2021 Global Outsourcing 100” with recognition in the areas of Customer References, Awards & Certifications, Programs for Innovation, and Programs for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).[7]

CIeNET was also recognized in “The 2021 Global Outsourcing 100 Sub-Lists” for Sustained Excellence (making the list for at least 5 consecutive years), All Stars (achieving a score of 5 or better in each of the judging categories), Top Customer References, Top Programs for Innovation, and Top Programs for CSR.[8]

In 2020, CIeNET was also named to the IAOP’s The Global Outsourcing 100 list and was included in all six of the sub-lists: Sustained Excellence, All Stars, Top Customer References, Top Awards & Certifications, Top Programs for Innovation, and Top Programs for CSR.[9]

U.S. Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Agency[edit]

In 2010, CIeNET was named the Minority Global Technology Firm of the Year by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency. [4]
