History
CPA Credits was founded in 2020 in the United States.[1] The launch of CPA Credits coincided with growing concerns about barriers to the accounting profession, specifically the lengthy, costly process of obtaining the 150 credits.[2]
Course Details
The CPA licensure in the USA typically entails 150 semester credit hours, CPA exam, and relevant work experience. CPA Credits introduced alternative ways for individuals to acquire their credits in addition to the completion of a bachelor’s degree. It also provides unofficial transcript evaluations for prospective CPA candidates to assess remaining credit or coursework requirements for state board eligibility.[3]
