CRIPtic Arts is a British, disabled-led arts organisation.[1] CRIPtic produces and showcases theatre, runs development programmes for disabled people who work or want to work in the creative industries,[2] and carries out research and consultancy in the field of disability arts.

CRIPtic Arts was founded in 2019 by Jamie Hale. It was initially a showcase at the Barbican Centre,[3][4] and formed in 2021 as an independent organisation. In 2022 it was listed in the Shaw Trust Power 100 as one of the 100 most influential disabled people or disabled-led organisations in the UK,[5]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, CRIPtic Arts developed online programmes to support and connect disabled people through the arts, and to train disabled people for work in the creative industries.[6] It conducts research into how to produce and run accessible hybrid events,[7] and on the barriers faced by people with significant physical impairments working in London theatres [8]
