CSM Ploiești is a Romanian men's basketball club based in Ploiești, Romania. The club was founded in 2015 as an independent section within the CSM Ploiești club and promoted to the Liga Națională after winning the Ligue 1 play-off tournament in the 2015–16 season.
The manager of the basketball department is Ivan Ionuț and the main coach of the team is Mihai Popa.
