CTV Arctic, formerly known as ARTV, is a system of nine television stations within the Arctic Provinces across Northern Canada, as well as the secondary outlet of the CTV Television Network for the city of Montreal. The system is primarily owned and operated by the CTV Television Network, a division of Bell Media. These stations are CTYK-DT (Yellowknife, Northwest Territories), WNQT (Montreal, Quebec), CTDC-DT (Dawson City, Yukon), CFGB-DT (Goose Bay, Labrador), CBXH-DT (Fort Smith, Northwest Territories), CIHC-DT (Hay River, Northwest Territories), CHFC-DT (Churchill, Manitoba), CFFB-DT (Iqaluit, Nunavut), CHAK-DT (Inuvik, Northwest Territories).

Since 2005, all the system's stations, except for CTYK-DT and WNQT-DT, refer to themselves on-air as simply CTV instead of their callsigns; however, they remain legally licensed as separate stations, and continue to have common local programming. CTV Arctic operates twelve stations that relay its programming across the entire of its three arctic provinces as well as cities of Montreal and Timmins, plus the signals of its station excavating into portions of certain northern areas within British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, & Manitoba.

Programming

As CTYK-DT serves as CTV's flagship station, its schedule is virtually identical to the CTV network schedule, but within the Arctic Canada standard time had been operated semi-independently from the Telemundo network since its inception. This allowed the station to focus on local programming, with network programming used as filler.
