CUE is a nonprofit organization that serves educators interested in the use of technology in education. Its mission, stated on the CUE website is, “CUE inspires innovative learners by fostering community, personalizing learning, infusing technology, developing leadership, and advocating educational opportunities for all.”

Conferences & Expo[edit]

CUE has two major conferences a year, Fall CUE and Spring CUE that draw thousands of educators worldwide to California. The Spring CUE conference in 2019 will be in its usual location of Palm Springs, CA running from March 14-16. This conference draws over 5000 educators[1] and over 200 exhibitors. This conference was named as one of the top 10 conferences to attend if you are an Education Entrepreneur in Forbes Magazine[2]. The Fall CUE conference for 2018 will take place at American Canyon High School from October 13-14.

Professional Learning[edit]

CUE has done quite a bit of professional development for teacher all over California and has served other states in the US including Massachusetts[3], Michigan[4], New Jersey and Wyoming. The training that they have offered has reached over 45,000 educators over the last three years. CUE provides custom PD as well as events focused on Administrators (CUE Rock Star Admin Edition), hands on PD (CUE Rock Star), Google specific trainings (Google Workshop for Educators) and a variety of other services.
