CW24 News (Arabic: سي دبليو 24 أخبار) is a social and political newspaper published in Cairo, Egypt. It is published five times a week in Arabic and English. It was founded in 1973 by Abdel Fattah Muhammad. The newspaper covers the social and political events taking place in Egypt and achievements in various areas of public life. It also publishes materials on the history and culture of the Arab people.[1]
History
It has been published since 1973 in Cairo. In 1973 it was founded by Abdel Fattah Muhammad Hassan. During the Yom Kippur War, the Egyptian government created the newspaper to be fully relied upon to support this important day for the Egyptians. It was the first issue for distribution in 1980 as a newspaper.
Awards
- The newspaper won the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.[2]
