Caboclo from Umbanda

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Caboclos are a line of work by Umbanda entities, who present themselves as indigenous. They also incorporate in caboclo candomblé, from where they possibly originate.[1]This line of work have been present in Umbanda since its founding, since the religion would have been created by the Caboclo das Sete Encruzilhadas.[2]

The so-called entities that appear in the Umbanda terraces are spirits with a certain spiritual degree of evolution. They are considered spirits of Indians who have died and become guides of light who return to Earth to give charity to others. Or souls of people who assumed the fluidic caboclo garment as the ideal instrument.[3]
