The Cadogan Clinic is a private hospital located at 120 Sloane Street in Chelsea, London.[1][2] It was founded by Bryan Mayou and Susan Mayou in 2004.

History

The Cadogan Clinic was established by husband and wife, Bryan Mayou and Susan Mayou, specialising in plastic surgery and dermatology.[3] Initially established in 2004 at Duke of York Square in Chelsea, London, the clinic moved to its current location at 120 Sloane Street, London in 2008.[4][5]

In 2014, the Cadogan Clinic began offering a skin cancer mole mapping service, approved by the British Skin Foundation.[6]

In 2021, the clinic was the fifth busiest day-case-only hospital in the UK.[7] In 2022, the CQC rated the Cadogan Clinic Overall Good, with an Outstanding rating for Leadership.[8]

The Cadogan Clinic supports greater regulation in the aesthetic medicine sector. In 2022, the clinic provided written evidence to the Health and Social Care Committee of the UK Parliament’s inquiry into the impact of Body image on mental and physical health.[9][10]

Medical education and training

Since 2017, the Cadogan Clinic has hosted the annual Nial Kirkpatrick Fellowship with BAAPS and the BAPRAS. The fellowship provides surgeons with specialised training in aesthetic surgery and support for academic research.[11][12]

In 2019, in conjunction with the Royal Society of Medicine, the clinic hosted the first Live Regenerative Plastic Surgery Meeting in the UK.[13]
