Caesar & Loui is a Swedish songwriting and production duo of Daniel Caesar (Caesar) and Ludwig Lindell (Loui).

They have worked with many artists, including Super Junior, VIXX, TVXQ, The Fooo Conspiracy, F(x), 4Minute, Shinhwa, Girls' Generation ([ 소녀시대] error: {{lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)), Lee Taemin,. In addition to their production/songwriting work, Caesar and Loui are also members of the pop group Irene.

Career[edit]

Original songs and production[edit]

Caesar & Loui had their first success working with the Korean boyband VIXX for their hit single "Hyde". The collaboration resulted in more than 200,000 copies sold and a number one position on the Korean Gaon Charts. The group also won the main prize on the Seoul Music Awards 2013.

The duo had another success with the Asian boyband Super Junior, with the hit single song "Swing". The song peaked at position 5 on the Korean Gaon Album Charts.[1][Musikmakarna 1]

In 2014 the duo had a number one on the Billboard Japan Charts, Oricon Charts and Gaon Charts with the song "Special One" from the TVXQ album With. The album went platinum in Japan selling over 250,000 copies.

In 2014 Caesar & Loui produced the song "Stay" for Girls' Generation-TTS on the album Holler. The album peaked at number 1 on the US World Charts as well as on the Korean Gaon Charts.

They have written several songs for the Swedish boy band The Fooo Conspiracy, Some of the songs recorded are "Popping It", "All Over The World", "Jump", "WTF" and "Buzzkill".

Caesar & Loui co-wrote and produced the song "Scarface" for Shinhwa's album The Classic. The album sold over 100,000 copies and reached number 4 on Gaon Charts list.

Caesar & Loui collaborated with Taemin' on the album Ace. It went number one on Korean Music Charts and number 2 on US Billboard World Charts.
