History[edit]

The California Victor University (CVU) was founded by Benjamin Hong in August, 2010 for the purpose of training qualified leaders wholly committed to the Word of God. California Victor University (CVU) is a non-denominational private, post-secondary faith-based institution that strives to be a leader in the academic development of men and women that can make a significant impact on the world through their academic and professional excellence as well as their Christian values. CVU received a licensed to operate from BPPE (Bureau for Private Post secondary Education, California) in August 2016. Currently, CVU offers Business Administration degree program on campus in Pomona, CA.

Accreditation[edit]

California Victor University is a member of the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), having been awarded Candidate Status as a Category institution by the TRACS Accreditation Commission on November 04, 2019. This status is effective for a period of up to five years. TRACS is recognized by the United States Department of Education (DOE), the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).

Admissions[edit]

The Office of Admissions compiles applicant’s academic records and forwards the files for admission committees to review.

Potential applications should contact California Victor University by visiting the institution and meeting with an Admissions Representative. The representative will give a tour of the campus, provide detailed information on the institution’s programs and policies, discuss the applicant’s qualifications, and assist him/her in determining the best way to meet his/her career objectives. The applicant will also meet with a Financial Services Representative to discuss tuition and possible financing. If inquiry is made by phone, the Admissions Representative will provide brief information about the programs and also invite the applicant to visit the University.

Business Administration degree[edit]

California Victor University currently offers the following programs: Master of Business Administration (MBA, 42 semester credit hours) The Masters of Business Administration at our California Victor University is a two year program that is designed to introduce students to various branches of business such as accounting, human resources, marketing, management, strategy, and etc. Our MBA program is designed to help those develop their communication and oral skills so that they will be able to apply their skills in real-world competencies. MBA is usually interdisciplinary because it requires for the student to use their knowledge from fields other than business such as, psychology and sociology. Therefore, students who are willing to pursue their studies in MBA will require motivation and time commitment for successful course completion. The course of study provides a balanced approach to the art and science of management and informs the individual how to manage through given information. The employment opportunities for the graduates of this program include accountants, company managers, and finance analysts, and insurance specialists.
