Caliow was raised in , Norway by his adoptive parents who are fulltime musicians as well. Music has always been a big part of his life. When he was 15, Caliow appeared on the television music talent show X-Factor Norway and ended as one of the top 24 finalists. In 2018, Caliow released his first single "Let You Go". His latest release, "Cuckoo Bird" is being received on the radio in Norway.
