Callie Brutnell (born 23 February 2003) is an Australian actress. She is known for her roles in Netflix's Boy Swallows Universe and HBO series Young Rock S2.[1]
Early life
Brutnell was born on 23 February 2003,[2] in Canberra, Australia, to Todd and Rachelle Brutnell. Todd Brutnell was the now retired Australian record holding butterfly swimmer, Nicholas D'Arcy's Trainer.[3] She is a middle child with two brothers.[4] Her older brother, Ky Brutnell is known for his acting in The Film From Lot 15. She attended the primary school of Mountain Creek State School and Sunshine Coast Grammar School in High School.[4][5] She then attended University at Griffith University.[1]
Career
Brutnell first participated in acting at Noosa Film Academy, then went to study at institutes such as Griffith University, NIDA and Les Chantery Studio.[1]
Brutnell's first experience on a Hollywood film set was in HBO's Television Series Young Rock S2 as an extra.[1] She then went on to work on the set of Netflix's Boy Swallows Universe, set to release in 2023.
