Calmerry is a US-based online therapy platform launched in 2020. It is fully-owned and operated by Mental Fuel Inc. d/b/a Calmerry, a Delaware corporation.[1]

The company operates in the healthcare industry. Calmerry connects clients and mental health professionals and provides virtual therapy space for online messaging and video therapy sessions.[2][3]

Calmerry was founded in 2020 by a tech entrepreneur Alex Vitchenko. The idea for the creation of the product that will help people get the mental health support they need came to the founder during the COVID-19 pandemic.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10]

After beta testing, Calmerry was officially launched in October 2020. Currently, the company has 50+ employees.[4][11]

In April 2021, the company raised $5 million in seed funding from Digital Future.[12][13][14][15]

Calmerry is a HIPAA-compliant platform and website that works with English-speaking clients worldwide.[16]

Counselors work on the Calmerry platform as independent contractors. They are licensed and guided by the principles of evidence-based therapy.[17][18][19][20]

It is a subscription-based platform with weekly and monthly subscription plans. Prices start from $42 per week for a messaging therapy to $90 for a messaging+video therapy.[21]

The clients and mental health professionals can access one-on-one therapy space through the Calmerry website and mobile app on iOS and Android.[22]

Calmerry’s counselors provide individual and couples therapy and specialize in a wide range of mental health issues.[23][24][22]
