Cameron Laskowsky, known as Cam Lasky, is a Japanese Dubstep and Drum and Bass producer based in Kyoto, a founder who runs Dubstep label KWAIOTO Records, Drum and Bass label KWAIBASS and Hybrid Bass label KWAIDEEP and Techno label KWAITRON in Kyoto. In 2017, Cam released his own album, Occupied City 占領都市, on December 4, 2017, to generally positive reviews and peaked at number 2 on Junodownload Deep Dubstep Album Chart, number 8 on Beatport Leftfield Bass Top100. In 2018, Cam released the album, Occulted City 呪法都市, on June 11, 2018, peaking at number 1 on the Junodownload Deep Dubstep Album Chart and released his remix album, Occulted City GION REBOOT 呪法都市 祇園転生, on October 29, 2018, peaking at number 1 on the Junodownload Deep Dubstep Album Chart. In 2019, Pacific Part.1[1] he teamed up with Japanese Dubstep producer Karnage and they included two tracks + alternate versions, and the release is actually a tribute to Peter Tieryas’s book United States of Japan, which takes place in an alternate reality where Japan won the WWII and conquered the United States… and where a resistance group distributes a game that takes place in an alternate reality where the US won the war.
