Located on the Valencia−Sant Vicenç de Calders railway, it opened on 13 January 2020, as part of the Vandellòs bypass, a new segment of the line stretching from Tarragona and L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, which bypasses the areas of Salou and Mont-rig del Camp, through which the original line used to pass through.[1] The original line is operational only as far as Pont Aventura. [2] It is served by RENFE long-distance and Rodalies de Catalunya medium-distance trains.[3][4][5]
