Cameron Hardy (born October 11, 2000) is an American singer-songwriter and actor.[1]

Early life

Cameron Hardy was born on October 11, 2000 in Austin, Texas.[2] He learned to play guitar and piano as a child.[3][unreliable source?] In 2017, he began posting covers of hit songs on YouTube and other social media platforms. In 2018, he began traveling to the Los Angeles area to pursue a music career.[4]

Career

Cameron began his career in the entertainment industry in 2012 while working in a local professional theater program. While there, he was discovered by a local talent agent who introduced him to on-camera opportunities.[5] Cameron appeared on Disney Channel's "Shake It Up!", "Girl Meets World", and "K.C. Undercover"[6]. Simultaneously, Hardy began working with Los Angeles based American Idol vocal coach, Adriana McPhee.[7] In 2013, Cameron began recording at the Village Studios in Los Angeles with Grammy-nominated producers, such as Ghian Wright.[8] While Hardy had been releasing covers of hit pop songs, he began working on his own music of the same genre in 2018. Cameron announced in November of 2018 that he had co-written with songwriters such as Delacey for his debut project.
