Cameron Herold (born 26 October 1965) is a Canadian entrepreneur, business coach, speaker, and author. He served as Chief Operating Officer of 1-800-GOT-JUNK? and later founded the COO Alliance, a professional network for operations executives.[1][2]
Early life and career
Herold was born in Toronto, Canada, and raised in Northern Canada. By the age of 18, he had launched several small ventures, and in his early twenties, he owned and managed a painting franchise business.[3][4][5]
At the age of 35, Herold became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, a Canadian junk removal company founded by Brian Scudamore. During his time, the company expanded from 12 to more than 300 franchise locations in several countries, and its reported revenue grew from approximately $2 million to over $100 million.[6][7][8][9]
