Early Life[edit]

Williams was born in Greenville, NC and raised in Grifton, NC. He was born to a mother of 21 years who attended college but decided to temporarily discontinue her studies to raise him. Ever since he could remember, his mother & immediate family placed an extreme value on getting an education. This heavy influence caused him to have stellar grades as an elementary school student at Contentnea-Savannah K-8 School in Kinston, NC.

As a young African American male growing up without his biological father, he was considered a negative statistic (Around 64% of Black/African American children grow up without their father in their household). However, his family wouldn't allow a number to define what he could do and what he could aspire to be. He started to switch his mindset and attempt to figure out the big questions: WHO was he and WHAT did he want for his life? For most of his life, he aspired to be a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association. He finished his high school studies at North Lenoir High School in LaGrange, NC and set his sights on his next chapter.

At age seventeen, Cameron started his first college semester at North Carolina A&T in Greensboro, North Carolina. Struggles during his freshman year resulted in him losing his merit scholarship, a major contributor to his access to funds to pay for college. In his words, “He had the perfect opportunity, but lacked the discipline to capitalize!” This change of events caused him to realize that if he wanted a successful life, he would have to strategize & dedicate himself towards accomplishing his goals.

He currently resides in Greensboro, NC and is finishing his undergraduate degree at North Carolina A&T.
