Camillo Caltagirone (born 11 June 1990 in Lugano) is an Italian businessman, founder and Ceo of RealEleven Group, involved in real estate.
Personal Life[edit]
Camillo Caltagirone was born in Lugano and raised in the Principality of Monaco.[1]. He belongs to a family with a long and prestigious history in the field of entrepreneurship. He is son of Francesco Bellavista Caltagirone, former Chairman of Acqua Marcia Group, former shareholder of CAI (Compagnia Aerea Italiana S.p.A) and former director at Alitalia.
Career[edit]
After having spent years in the Principality of Monaco, Milan, London, New York and Geneva, he founded RealEleven Group[2], an holding firm engaged in investments in real estate and other fields, based in Lugano and Milan[3][4].
He has been active for ten years in the real estate area, that has always been his core business. He has also invested in other sectors, such as the promotion of medical and scientific research. In October 2018 became known that Camillo Caltagirone invested in Genextra, an holding created in 2004 by a group of prominent Italian entrepreneurs and financial institutions, and led by the oncologist Umberto Veronesi, in order to support health and medical research[5]
He aims to create a better and environmentally sustainable housing, endowed with all the best new technologies to reach the widest public.
