The Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce (CHCC), founded in 2021, is a non-profit organization in Canada. The organization represents the interests of the Canadian Hindu business community. CHCC functions as a network for Hindus involved in various business sectors across Canada.[1][2][3][4] As of 2024, CHCC is recognized as an official stakeholder by the Federal Government of Canada.[5]
History
The Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce was established in 2021. The organization was founded to promote entrepreneurship, encourage business collaboration, and support cultural identity within the Hindu community.[2][6][7]
Activities
CHCC has organized events such as the Invest India - Invest Canada.[8][9]
The organization also hosts an annual Dhanteras Gala to acknowledge the contributions of Canadian Hindus to various fields.[10]
International Representation
In 2023, the CHCC participated in the World Hindu Congress.[11]
Trade Delegations
In 2024, the Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce participated in trade delegations to Nepal, India, and Bangladesh. These trade missions included the signing of several agreements and meetings with political and business representatives, including the Prime Minister of Nepal.[12]
