Canon India Systems Development Center,[1] often referred to as simply ISDC, is the R&D division of Canon India Pvt Limited.[2] ISDC is located in Bangalore,India. ISDC provides best-in-class solutions in the field of System LSI Design & Verification, Embedded Open Source Software, High Performance Computing, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Video Codec Development, Security and Cryptography Platforms applied across various Canon products like Cameras, Multi-function Function Printers, Network Surveillance Cameras and Healthcare Modalities. It also conducts collaborative research projects with universities, trains engineers on a global scale and exchanges personnel between facilities.
History
Canon India Systems Development Center(ISDC) was set up in the middle of 1999 with an investment of US $2 million,It is one of the six such cutting edge technology centres established by Canon Inc. globally.
